JAKARTA - An earthquake rocked the Jepara area, Central Java at around 05:54 WIB, Tuesday, July 7.

The earthquake centered on the waters of the Indian Ocean with a distance of 53 kilometers from the northwest of Jepara with a depth of 578 kilometers

BMKG informed that the earthquake that rocked Jepara did not cause a tsunami.

The earthquake this time has a magnitude of 6.1 with the epicenter located at coordinates 6.12 LS - 110.55 BT.
