South Sulawesi Provincial Government: No Forced Demolition Of Nurdin Abdullah's Room At Governor's Office

MAKASSAR - Head of the General Bureau of the South Sulawesi Secretariat Idham Kadir gave clarification on the issue of forced demolition of Nurdin Abdullah (NA)'s room/workspace at the South Sulawesi Governor's Office House (rujab) on Katangka street, Makassar.

Idham said that what was opened was not the workroom or private room of the non-active Governor Nurdin Abdullah, but a guest room or VVIP, as a room check to be fixed.

"So there was no dismantling, there was checking and changing of keys, and new keys have also been handed over to the key person in charge of the rujab," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, September 6.

According to him, this was done in accordance with the main task of conducting inspections or checking. Because the governor's rujab has not been inhabited for a long time since NA underwent a legal process by the KPK.

Moreover, the office house is often used to receive guests and other activities so it is necessary to check.

"Checking this room is an activity of the General Bureau because if there is damage it will be fixed. The team checked the room because it had not been used for a long time," he said.
