JAKARTA - One Champhionship, Sunoto, a Mixed Martial Arts or mixed martial arts (MMA) athlete, is a victim of fraud. The perpetrator he said was the son of Alex Kumara, namely, Adri Andika Kumara. He said that this fraud was carried out by taking royalties and forging signatures.

Sunoto's attorney, Rian Hidayat, said that the alleged criminal act of fraud began when Adri collaborated with his client, who could be said to be a manager. At that time, Sunoto was asked to fill the event as a motivator by the event organizer (EO).

In the cooperation agreement with the EO, there is an agreement on royalties and payments. It's just that the wages that should be received are never felt. So that there is suspicion of fraud in this case.

Sunoto decided to contact the EO, a shocking answer to him, because the proof of payment had been made by the organizer of the event.

"When he became a motivator, he got a fee, got a fee from it. It was the payment that was alleged to have been a forged letter, in the end he paid it not to my client but to the one suspected to be Adri Andika Kumara," said Rian in Jakarta, Friday, December 13.

From the communication with the EO, there was a suspicion that it was Adri who had cheated. The fraud was carried out by forging Sunoto's signature on the agreement letter. So, all payments from filling out the event actually went to Adri's account.

"It is suspected that Adri Andika Kumara had falsified the request for payment to an account," said Rian.

That way, Alex Kumara's son was reported to the Polda Metro Jaya. The report on the alleged fraud has been registered under the number LP / 8086 / XII / 2019 / PMJ / Dit.Reskrimum with the alleged article, namely Article 378 of the Criminal Code concerning fraud.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that investigators would immediately handle the report of the alleged fraud. Four witnesses have also been questioned in this case. The examination was carried out simultaneously with the reporting of the case, on Friday, December 13, morning.

"We have already taken 3 witnesses, including the reporters, so there are 4 people so far," said Yusri.
