No History Of Mental Disorders, Police Persecutors In Awayan Sued For 2 Cases At Once

BANJARMASIN – After undergoing an examination for one week, the perpetrator of the persecution of Awayan Police Brigadier Hermawan was declared not to have a mental disorder. This was conveyed by the Head of Criminal Investigation Division of Balangan Police, South Kalimantan, Iptu Krismandra.

Iptu Krismandra in Paringin said that the mental condition of the perpetrator NY (25) was declared normal after, especially in his mental condition.

"Psychiatric observations on NY have been carried out for one week. Then the hospital has been able to conclude about the results", explained Iptu Krismandra, quoting Antara, Friday, September 3.

Krismanda also said that NY itself underwent a psychiatric examination at Hasan Basri Kandangan Hospital some time ago.

After knowing the results of the NY psychiatric examination, the perpetrator, who was previously reported by the family to have a mental disorder, turned out to be normal.

The suspect NY is already in the Balangan Police detention cell. The Satreskrim Polres Balangan also prepared the case file for the first stage of the persecution case.

"Two cases were immediately charged against NY, namely the case of the persecution of residents in Kambiyain Village and the strong case of the persecution of members of the Awayan Police", he explained.

Krismanda also explained that NY's motive for the persecution was because he did not want to deal with the police, so when he was handed over to the Awayan Police by his family, NY spontaneously attacked the members.

Based on the criminal acts committed, the suspect NY was charged with Article 351 with a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
