JAKARTA - Secretary-General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani reminded cadres not to make mistakes that could prevent Gerindra Chairman Prabowo Subianto from running again in the 2024 presidential election. Moreover, corruption.

The warning was conveyed by Muzani while attending the Coordination Meeting of the Lampung Gerindra Party Regional Representative Council (DPD) which was held in Kota Bumi, North Lampung, Tuesday, August 31.

Muzani appreciates the hard work of all components of the Gerindra Party until now it is in the second-largest position in the results of various national survey institutions.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, is at the top of the standings of potential 2024 presidential candidates.

"Mr. Prabowo has the highest electability as a presidential candidate compared to other candidates", said Muzani in his statement, Wednesday, September 1.

However, Muzani emphasized that the recent positive results should not make Gerindra Party cadres too happy. This is because the 2024 election will still take place in the next 2-3 years.

Therefore, he reminded the cadres not to make the slightest mistake that could prevent Prabowo from becoming president of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Don't let the mistakes of the cadres become the cause or obstacle to the achievement of the party's goals, namely Prabowo for president, Gerindra wins", he stressed.

Muzani also asked all Gerindra Party officials to maintain party solidity by not doing things that could harm the party and the general chairman.

"We must be solid, we must not be complacent. Do not do things that can harm the party, such as corruption, drugs, or other despicable acts", concluded Muzani.
