JAKARTA - After data collection by the Police, it was discovered that there was one fatality in the incident of clashes between community organizations (ormas) at the Krisnadwipaya University (Unkris) Campus, Jalan Jariwaringin, Pondok Gede District, Bekasi City. died as a result of mass clashes.

"One victim died. This is an internal campus problem," he said when confirmed by reporters, Wednesday, September 1.

His party is also still looking for injured victims as a result of the clashes between the CSO groups.

"Currently, investigations and data collection are still being carried out. Meanwhile, the Bekasi City Police have arrested 3 people after the clash of mass organizations. There are 3 people who have been arrested, all of them because they jumped a fence and sprained their legs," he said.

The police chief stated that the clashes between mass organizations were from outside, not from students. The police are still investigating the matter to find out the motive for the commotion.

While being asked about the mass payment, the Police Chief was reluctant to explain.

"We will explore this. There are certain groups of mass organizations," he said.

To anticipate further clashes, the Bekasi City Metro Police have placed security on the campus to keep activities going.

"Currently the campus is conducting online learning, so the campus does not have lecture activities," he said.
