MEDAN - Police revealed the existence of a marijuana field in Parbuluan IV Village, Parbuluan District, Dairi Regency, North Sumatra.

Dairi Police Chief, Ferio Sano Ginting said the disclosure was made based on information provided by the public.

Following up on the residents' reports, said Ferio, the Parbuluan Police Chief, Agus Santoso immediately coordinated with the Dairi Police Narcotics Unit.

"Officers then carried out reconnaissance in the field and secured a suspect with the initials KS", he said.

From the results of the interrogation, the perpetrator admitted that the field belonged to him.

"The perpetrator admitted to planting and caring for the marijuana for approximately 3 months", he explained.
