MEDAN - Police revealed the existence of a marijuana field in Parbuluan IV Village, Parbuluan District, Dairi Regency, North Sumatra.
From the disclosure, a perpetrator with the initials KS (28) was also arrested. The perpetrators were secured with evidence of around 200 marijuana trees of various sizes.
Dairi Police Chief, Ferio Sano Ginting said the disclosure was made based on information provided by the public.
"Starting from information from the people of Parbuluan IV Village to Parbuluan Police personnel, that a marijuana field was found in a field belonging to the Simanjuntak clan", said Ferio in his statement, Monday, August 30.
Following up on the residents' reports, said Ferio, the Parbuluan Police Chief, Agus Santoso immediately coordinated with the Dairi Police Narcotics Unit.
"Officers then carried out reconnaissance in the field and secured a suspect with the initials KS", he said.
