Tragedy Of Son Kills Father In Cengkareng, Perpetrators Always Revolt When Examined By Police

JAKARTA - Cengkareng Police, West Jakarta arrested SRA (26) for allegedly killing his own father in the apartment area (rusun) in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta, Friday 27 August.

The Cengkareng Police Chief, Police Commissioner Egman, confirmed the murder case. He said the scene of the incident was in the Cengkareng area of the Sanitation Service Flat.

"Yes, that's right, the incident occurred last Friday (at the Sanitation Service Flat Block B Floor 1, West Cengkaréng, West Jakarta," said Cengkareng Police Chief, Police Commissioner Egman, quoting Antara, Saturday, August 28.

But so far they have not been able to determine the motive for the murder. Perpetrators often rebel when questioned by officers.

"When asked for information he always rebelled, got angry. We will do a psychiatric examination," said Egman.

The killings began when neighbors heard the 70-year-old victim screaming for help from inside the house. When the neighbors came out of the house, they were shocked to see that the victim was already seriously injured.

At the same time, neighbors also saw the perpetrator running away from inside his house. Not far from the location of the murder, local security immediately arrested the perpetrator.

The victim was immediately rushed to Hermina Hospital for treatment. However, the victim died on the way.

Until now, the perpetrator is still being held at the Cengkareng Police along with some evidence. One of them is a knife used to kill.
