SEMARANG - The Central Java Provincial Government is intensifying the socialization of the use of the PeduliLindung application in shopping centers, malls, and restaurants. The goal is to provide an understanding to the public about the importance of implementing health protocols.
"The public must be given an understanding, this is a new habit to protect. Little by little, this is our hope as part of our commitment and learning, so that later when people get used to everything, I suspect it will not be a hassle", said Central Java Governor, Ganjar Pranowo, in Semarang quoted Antara, Wednesday, August 25th.
Ganjar said the government had prepared the PeduliLindung application to be the main one, so now the problem is how to implement it in the field.
He suggested that the implementation be carried out with trials by certain PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions) levels that allow trials of opening restaurants or malls.
"With that, we can immediately know what the difficulties are because we like it or not, like it or not, we have to enter new habits", he said.
Regarding the use of the PeduliLindung application, several mall managers in Semarang City have prepared procedures and electronic devices to limit the number of visitors and allow the public to enter the mall.
One of the conditions is that visitors must have been vaccinated with the first dose and the second dose.
Meanwhile, the General Manager of Ciputra Mall, Ani Suyatmi, said that according to directions from the central government regarding the opening of shopping centers or malls, his party prepared supporting devices related to the PeduliLindung application.
The device that has been prepared is a scanner or QR code to monitor the entry and exit of visitors.
In addition, visitors who enter are also required to download the PeduliLindungi application on their respective devices.
