Decreasing COVID-19 Cases, Semarang City Government Begins To Close A Number Of Central Isolation Places

SEMARANG - The Semarang City Government has begun to close several centralized isolation places following the decline in the number of COVID-19 cases in the Central Java capital.

Head of the Semarang City Health Office, Abdul Hakam, said that the locations of centralized isolation that had begun to be closed were those in the Semarang Education and Training Center building and the Miracle Healing Center building.

According to Abdul Hakam, the number of patients being treated in centralized isolation centers has also decreased significantly.

He gave an example of the isolation place at the Semarang Mayor's Office House currently only treating 8 patients.

Meanwhile, 45 residents underwent self-isolation, he said.

Kadinkes appealed to residents undergoing self-isolation to be willing to be treated in centralized isolation centers or hospitals if their condition worsens.
