Arrested Again, 3 Masterminds Of The New Johar Brawl Test Positive For Methamphetamine

JAKARTA - The Johar Baru Police have arrested three youths involved in the Johar Baru brawl, Central Jakarta. The perpetrators were arrested at an internet cafe while gathering in the Johar Baru area.

The Head of the Johar Baru Police, Kompol Edison, confirmed the arrest of three brawlers. Even so, the police are still pursuing the other perpetrators involved.

"The three perpetrators who were arrested tested positive for drugs after a urine test was carried out. The three perpetrators were the brains and the mastermind behind the brawl," the police chief told VOI, Monday, August 23, afternoon.

The police chief explained that one of the initials AC was an intellectual actor.

"He's the initials AC who opened the first. There are several other names being chased by members in the field now," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Sector Police, AKP Suprayogo, added that residents should assist the police in maintaining security and order.

"Residents deliberately closed the road for brawls. Residents blocked officers who wanted to enter because they blocked roads. Residents should have dispersed. We will take firm action against the perpetrators of the brawl. The three perpetrators are residents of Paris," he said.

Furthermore, Kanit said that the motive for the brawl that occurred last night was revenge.

"That's why last night's brawl was short. We caught them when they were gathering at the internet cafe," he said.
