Development Of 66 Red Zone RWs In Jakarta: Remaining 5 And Increasing By 22 RWs

JAKARTA - The number of neighborhoods (RW) in the red zone in Jakarta is claimed to have decreased. From the previous 66 RW, currently only 5 RW are still under strict local scale control (PKBL).

"The position on June 19, out of 66 RW, only has 5 red RWs. So, we have PR 5 RWs that are red, which we have to change to yellow or even green," said Head of DKI Jakarta Government Bureau Premi Larasti in a virtual discussion, Thursday , June 25th.

However, there are 22 other RWs that are now in the red zone. So that the toll is 27 RW which are included in the red zone. Initially, this RW had the status of a yellow, orange, or green zone.

"Currently there are 27 RWs that are vulnerable on June 19 to July 2, 2020. We must do this together with 27 RWs in the red zone, so that they can turn yellow and even turn green," said Premi.

Premi said that controlling the restrictions in 27 RWs from red zones to yellow and green zones is not only the responsibility of the DKI Provincial Government, but also the people who live in the area.

"We expect assistance from all RW heads, other elements of society to work together with the DKI Jakarta provincial government to carry out action plans for activities in these locations," he said.

The following 27 RWs are included in the COVID-19 tight control area (WPK):

9. RW 07 Kelurahan Kota Bambu Utara, Kecamatan Palmerah

10. RW 05 Kelurahan Kota Bambu Selatan, Palmerah District
