JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nurul Ghufron said that his party had not received reports and recommendations from the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) regarding the National Insight Test (TWK) for its employees since it was announced last Monday, August 16.

"Until the end of this week, after Komnas HAM announced the results of its monitoring, the KPK and other institutions had not received any letters and documents from Komnas HAM," Ghufron told reporters, Friday, August 20.

Even so, the anti-corruption commission is still waiting because Komnas HAM may still need time to submit the report and recommendations.

"KPK has a good perception that maybe Komnas HAM still needs time to revise or complete its monitoring results," said Ghufron.

Furthermore, he invited all parties to be patient in waiting for Komnas HAM's attitude regarding the results of their investigation. Ghufron asked the institution not only to create polemics in the public.

"KPK invites the public to be patient with respect to Komnas HAM who compiled a written report on the results of the Komnas HAM investigation, although perhaps the recommendation was not addressed to the KPK as the reported party," he said.

As previously reported, Komnas HAM stated that it would soon submit their findings regarding the TWK of KPK employees and their recommendations to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The handover is planned for next week and the President is expected to receive it directly.

Regarding the findings, Komnas HAM stated that there were 11 violations of rights experienced by KPK employees in the implementation of TWK, namely the right to justice and legal certainty; women's rights; the right not to discriminate; the right to freedom of religion and belief; right to work; and the right to security.

The next right that is violated is the right to information; right to privacy; the right to freedom of assembly and association; the right to participate in government; and the right to freedom of expression.

As a result of this violation, Komnas HAM issued five recommendations which were submitted to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as the highest authority holder and the highest civil service officer. The contents of the recommendations include appointing employees who do not pass the TWK as ASN and restoring the good name of employees who are stigmatized as a result of this incident.
