1,000 Bonek Enthusiastically Participate In COVID-19 Vaccination In Surabaya

SURABAYA - As many as 1,000 Bonek, Persebaya Surabaya fanatics received the COVID-19 vaccination at the Pitulikur Warkop, Jalan Bagong Surabaya. This vaccination is entitled "The Vaccine Wani Bone Towards a Tough Indonesia, Indonesia Grows".

"The implementation of the first phase of the vaccine is targeting 1,000 people," said the East Java Police Chief, Inspector General Nico Afinta, on the sidelines of reviewing the vaccination, Tuesday, August 17.

Inspector General Nico accompanied by the Mayor of Surabaya Eri Cahyadi, the Surabaya Police Chief and the President of Persebaya Surabaya, carried out checks starting from the registration, screening, vaccination and observation stages of the vaccination.

"The Bonek community is part of the community in Surabaya, and of course East Java, if this is voiced, I am sure that the COVID-19 handling program in East Java will also be successful," he said.

Nico ensured that the acceleration of vaccination will continue to be carried out for all Surabaya people, of course all East Java people. "Everything that has been done will show results, if what is done by the government is supported by the community," he said.

Meanwhile, Persebaya President Azrul Ananda said that Bonek had been engaged in social activities from the start, such as the one million masks program, Bonek Rescue by picking up Covid-19 patients to be taken to the hospital, and distributing basic necessities, vitamins to residents who were isoman.

"So these are indeed the activities of bonek friends that we must give appreciation to. We express our gratitude to Forkopimda East Java, and Forkopimda City of Surabaya, who supported vaccination activities for Persebaya Surabaya supporters," said Azrul.
