JAKARTA - The Governor of West Java, M Ridwan Kamil, delivered a memorandum on the draft General Policy on Priority Budgets and Temporary Budget Ceilings (KUA-PPAS) of the West Java APBD for Fiscal Year 2022 at the plenary meeting of the West Java DPRD, in Bandung, Monday. He said the benefits of this budgeting policy must be felt by the people of West Java. "General budget policies are prepared based on development priorities whose benefits will be felt by the people of West Java," he said. The 11 development priorities in West Java Province in 2022 are reform of the health system, recovery and innovation-based populist economic growth, strengthening the sustainable food security system. , reform of the social protection system, reform of the education system and promotion of culture. Then, reform of the disaster risk preparedness system, innovation of public services and regional structuring, movement to build villages, religious education and champion places of worship, development of regional connectivity infrastructure and environmental management, and the last is the development of tourism destinations and infrastructure. In addition, there are also nine flagship programs that will be rolled out in 2022, namely employment service centers, champion schools, champion boarding schools, millennial farmers, creative economy and innovation, connectivity of roads and bridges n, champion waste management, tourism development, and Citarum Harum. "We continue to strive to accelerate development in order to restore and improve the regional economy," he said.

Meanwhile, the provincial strategic projects to be carried out in 2022 are the development of tourist destinations, the construction of a creative center building, a cultural center, a digital command center, the construction of a road bridge, the construction of government buildings, mosques, structuring the square, and revitalizing the market. 2022 amounting to Rp41.14 trillion for regional income. Meanwhile, regional expenditures amounted to Rp. 40.23 trillion, and regional financing expenditures amounted to Rp. 857 billion.
