Luhut Raise Vaccination Target In Bogor To 100 Thousand People Per Day: That's Hard Work For Mrs. Ade Yasin

CIBINONG - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan raised the COVID-19 vaccination target in Bogor Regency, West Java to 100 thousand per day.

"The number of vaccines starting next week, people who are vaccinated must be 100 thousand per day, so that's hard work for Mrs. Ade (Bogor Regent), from the Minister of Health there is no problem," said Luhut while reviewing vaccinations with Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong quoted by Antara, Saturday, August 14.

He targets that Bogor Regency which is included in the agglomeration area can reach the target of 70 percent vaccination by September 2021.

"I think their hard work has been good, I just conveyed it to Mrs. Ade and the Minister of Health, who also happens to be from Bogor, because the target number of vaccines is 4.2 million, and only 900 thousand have been vaccinated," said Luhut.

Bogor Regency is targeted to vaccinate 70 percent of its population, namely 4.2 million people or equivalent to the obligation to inject 8.5 million doses of vaccine.

Bogor Regent, Ade Yasin, thanked all parties who helped accelerate vaccination in her area. So far, the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force has only injected 930,763 doses of vaccine or 11.01 percent of the target.

"It is impossible for the local government to organize it on their own without the help of all agencies, including the ministry, the TNI, and the National Police," said Ade Yasin.

By the end of July 2021, Ade Yasin is targeting 40 sub-districts throughout Bogor Regency to vaccinate as many as 8,575 targeted doses every week to accelerate towards herd immunity.

"Starting August, we will add the target for each sub-district per week as many as 8,575 doses of vaccine," she said.
