Secretary of the Sorong City COVID-19 Task Force, Herlin Sasabone in Sorong, Friday, said that his party budgeted for the purchase of 100 crates for the handling of COVID-19 bodies in 2021.
He said that the price of one coffin prepared for the funeral of the corpse of a COVID-19 patient in Sorong City was Rp4,500,000.
According to him, from January to August 2021, 78 of the 100 coffins budgeted for are used for the burial of COVID-19 bodies.
