JAKARTA - Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (KP2MI), Abdul Kadir Karding joked by calling the Influencer, Fiki Naki, a friend of Khabib Nurmagomedov who is an UFC athlete.

The joke was conveyed when holding discussions with a number of influencers regarding the hashtag #KaburAjaDulu at the KemenP2MI Office, Wednesday, February 19.

"Fiki is Khabib Nurmagomedov's friend because he speaks Russian. Yesterday (speaking, ED) Russian to me," Karding said as quoted from a video received in Jakarta, Thursday, February 20.

The joke was greeted with laughter by a number of influencers who were also present at the event. "Yesterday in Russian with me. I said, I will call Khabib Nurmagomedov first," said Karding.

It is known, KemenP2MI invites influencers to provide socialization to the public regarding the procedural departure for work abroad.

Meanwhile, according to Fiki, the public welcomes the government's action in responding to the #KaburAjaDulu trend, which contains the great opportunity to work abroad and the many successful testimonials of Indonesian migrant workers.

According to him, KemenP2MI has tried to improve the skills of prospective Indonesian migrant workers (CPMI) who are interested in the #KaburAjaDulu trend so that they don't get into trouble and are in accordance with competency requirements in the country of placement destination.

"What we wanted to run away from was instead supported and given training and education, they will definitely be completely destroyed," said the content of the creator and YouTuber.

Fiki also supports the efforts of the Ministry of P2MI to improve the ability of migrant workers before having a legal or procedural career abroad. He assessed that the Ministry of P2MI's efforts were in accordance with the invitation to Indonesian migrant workers to 'Go Home Migrants Juragan'.

Previously, Minister Karding again emphasized the target of sending as many as 425 thousand Indonesian migrant workers this year. This is based on data he has pocketed regarding the request of Indonesian citizens to work abroad as many as 1.3 million people.

To maximize the request, Minister Karding said KemenP2MI would seek previously unresolved obstacles. One of them, he continued, is related to the competence of prospective migrant workers who want to be recruited.

"This means that there is still one million requests that we do not fulfill. Actually, the hashtag #kaburajadulu was able to fill this out. So actually we don't have a job, there's just that we haven't filled it yet," said Karding.
