Transactions Using MiChat, Promises In Hotel Rooms, Dozens Of Teens In Bogor Netted By Satpol PP

BOGOR – A joint team consisting of the Bogor City Satpol PP, Bogor City Police, Kodim 0606/Bogor City, and Denpom III/1 recruited 24 non-married couples at a hotel in Bogor.

The couples who are not husband and wife are still relatively young, 17-24 years old. They were seen in the room with their respective partners. When asked by officers, they could not issue a marriage certificate or book. As a result, they were taken to the Bogor City Hall Office.

Head of Bogor City Satpol PP Agustiansyach said, after collecting data, the 24 teenagers were sent back to their respective homes.

"We can't arrest them, bro, we data, we take photos, we develop and we impose administrative sanctions." Agustian Syach explained when contacted by VOI, Thursday, August 12.

The man who is familiarly called Syach said that some of them transacted through the MiChat application. In the application, if they agree then proceed to the intended hotel room.

"That's right (Michat application)," short Agustian Syach.

Previously, it was reported that 24 teenagers who were not married couples were raided in a hotel room at a hotel in Bogor, precisely on Jalan RE Martadinata, Tanah Sareal Bogor, Wednesday, August 11 night.

During the raid, some evidence was found in the form of contraception. Agus Syach also explained how they transacted through the MiChat application.

"The way they transact is using a messaging application, we investigated on each of their cellphones. They made an appointment at this inn," said Agus.
