Positive COVID-19 Patients In West Sulawesi Add 224 People

JAKARTA - Residents of West Sulawesi (Sulbar) who were exposed to the new type of corona virus increased by 224 people, bringing the total to 9,636 people.

Spokesman for the West Sulawesi COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Safaruddin Sunusi, in Mamuju, Tuesday, August 10, said the additional positive COVID-19 patients in West Sulawesi came from Pasangkayu Regency 145 people, Central Mamuju 23, Polewali Mandar 23, Mamuju 15, Majene 10 people and Mamasa Regency eight people.

According to him, the number of recovered patients has increased by 162, bringing the total number of recovered COVID-19 patients in West Sulawesi to 7,700.

Additional patients recovered in West Sulawesi, including 46 people from Polewali Mandar District, 33 people from Mamuju, 31 people from Pasangkayu, 27 people from Central Mamuju, 16 people from Mamasa and nine people from Majene.

The number of deaths due to COVID-19 in West Sulawesi has increased by four, bringing the total number of patients dead to 204. The additional patients who died came from Majene Regency, two people from Polewali Mandar, two people.

Meanwhile, 1,669 patients underwent self-isolation, including 134 people in Mamasa Regency, 409 Polewali Mandar, 117 Majene, 482 Mamuju, 101 Central Mamuju, and 426 Pasangkayu people.

For patients undergoing treatment at hospitals in a number of areas in West Sulawesi as many as 63 people, of which there are four in Mamasa Regency, 16 Polewali Mandari, 10 Majene, 22 Mamuju, two Central Mamuju, and Pasangkayu nine people.
