Anies Targets River And Reservoir Normalization Land Procurement To Be Completed In October 2021

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan targets the flood control program by normalizing rivers and reservoirs to continue this year.

This is stated in the Governor's Instruction (Ingub) Number 49 of 2021 concerning the Settlement of Regional Priority Issues for 2021-2022 which was signed by Anies on August 5, 2021.

In the Ingub attachment regarding the environment, Anies targets land acquisition for river normalization in 2021 in August and October.

"The completion of land acquisition for the normalization of the Ciliwung River SPM 2020 and Kali Angke, Duri Kosambi Village, with a target time of August 2020", Anies wrote in Ingub, quoted on Monday, August 9.

"The completion of land acquisition for the normalization of the Ciliwung river, Cawang Village, Ciliwung River, Gedong Village, Jatikramat River, Pondok Kelapa Village, and Pesanggrahan River, Pondok Pinang Village, with a target time of October 2021", he continued.

Then, Anies also targets land acquisition for the naturalization of four reservoirs in August 2021 and four reservoirs in October 2021.

"Completion of land acquisition for naturalization of Brigif Reservoir, Lebak Bulus Reservoir, Pondok Ranggon Reservoir, and Embung Kebagusan with a target time of 2021. The completion of land acquisition for naturalization of Marunda Reservoir, Embung Wirajasa, Cimanggis Reservoir, and Kamal Reservoir with a target time of October 2021", explained Anies.

Anies targets four reservoirs to be operational by October 2022, namely Brigif Reservoir, Lebak Bulus Reservoir, Pondok Ranggon Reservoir, and Wirajasa Reservoir.

In total, Anies has 28 issues that are the targets for the completion of regional priority issues for 2021-2022 which are included in the Ingub, including the problem of flooding.

In this Ingub, Anies ordered the Regional Secretary of DKI Marullah to carry out the resolution of priority issues in 2021-2022.

"Ensuring the completion of regional priority issues in 2021-2022, leading and controlling the settlement of regional priority issues in 2021-2022, empowering all assistants and regional apparatus as well as Regional-owned Enterprises (BUMD) and other regional potentials, and taking full responsibility for resolving regional priority issues in 2021-2022", he said.
