Satpol PP Closes Wisma Shinta In Pulogadung Because It Is Considered A Place For Prostitution

JAKARTA - Allegedly being a place for undercover prostitution, Wisma Shinta, which is located on Jalan Pisangan Lama 1, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, was sealed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Satpol PP officers. The place was sealed because it violated the Perda and Perkada DKI Jakarta Province.

From VOI's observations in the field, dozens of officers were deployed from the TNI, Polri, DKI Jakarta Provincial Satpol PP, East Jakarta City Government Satpol PP, Pulogadung District and elements of the East Jakarta DMPTSP.

Previously, the joint officers held the apple at 09.05 WIB in the Pulogadung District yard. The apple was led by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial PP PP, Arifin M. Next, officers visited the sealing location on Jalan Pisangan Lama 1, Pulogadung.

After reading the verdict of the Supreme Court (MA) regarding the closure or cessation of Wisma Shinta's business activities by the Head of PPNS Investigation of the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP Henny Yusfida, the officers immediately attached seal stickers and banners announcing the closure of the business premises and the installation of a yellow seal line (Pol PP Line) .

Head of DKI Jakarta Satpol PP Arifin stated, the basis for closing and sealing the guesthouse type business premises was Article 55 of Governor Regulation Number 18 of 2018 concerning the Implementation of Tourism Businesses.

"According to the Supreme Court's ruling, Wisma Shinta's place of business is closed or its activities are stopped," said Arifin to VOI reporters at the sealing location, East Jakarta, Friday, August 6.

In addition, Arifin explained, the closure of the Wisma was based on the letter of assignment from the Head of the DKI Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit Number 602/1-74 dated August 3, 2021, regarding the closure/termination of business activities that violate the Regional Regulations and Regional Regulations of DKI Jakarta Province.

Then the budget implementation document for the Regional Apparatus Work Unit (DPA SKPD) of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Civil Service Police Unit Number 091/DPA/2021 dated January 4, 2021 and a letter from the Head of Plt. Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Number 2963/ -1.858.2 dated July 29, 2021 regarding the Closure of Business Places.
