Horror! Car Rearview Thief Action No More Than 10 Seconds

JAKARTA - An act of stealing car mirrors has been caught on CCTV cameras on Satria II Street, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. From the video, it can be seen that the perpetrator is very adept at gripping the car's rearview mirror. In no more than 10 seconds, the perpetrator successfully launched the action.

Head of the Tanjung Duren Police Criminal Investigation Unit of Adjunct Commissioner of Police, Fiernando, said that until now his staff were still investigating the crime scene (TKP) and collecting evidence.

"We have processed the crime scene. We came there, but we have not been able to contact the victim until there, it seems that the person is out of town", he said when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, August 5.

In the CCTV footage that went viral on social media, initially, two men were seen riding a motorcycle. The two theft specialists approached a silver car parked on the side of the road.

Then a man got off the motorbike and approached the left front door of the car. The thief's hand swiftly grabbed the car's rearview mirror for no more than 10 seconds.

After investigating the crime scene, the police checked the point of the CCTV and several witnesses.

"We are still investigating", he said.
