"Many people have asked me when this pandemic will end. I said, frankly, I don't know", Budi said in a press conference broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel, Monday, July 26.
He said, so far, many experts have predicted when the COVID-19 pandemic in the country will end. But none of that is true because this pandemic is over, determined by people's attitudes in carrying out their daily lives.
"I see that this pandemic will end, it depends on us. If we are disciplined in carrying out health protocols, this virus will decrease its transmission and fewer people will enter the hospital and fewer people will die", said Budi.
"How long will this pandemic continue? How many will be hospitalized? How many will die? It all depends on us complying with the health protocols", added the former Deputy Minister of SOEs.
