7 Debt Collectors Beating Men In Monang Maning Denpasar To Death They Were Abducted

DENPASAR - The Denpasar, Bali Police team arrested 7 perpetrators who beat their victims to death in the middle of the road in the Monang Maning area.

The perpetrators were I Wayan Sadia (40), Fendy Kaimana (31) Benny Bakarbessy (42), Jos Bus Likumahwa (30), Gusti Bagus Christisn Alevanto (23) aka Elvan, Gerson Pattiwelapia (23) and Dominggus Bakar Bessy aka Boncu ( 23).

Meanwhile, the victims are a brother named Gede Budiarsana (34) and his brother Ketut Widiada (37) aka Jro Dolah.

"From the results of the development, we managed to secure 7 perpetrators", said Denpasar Police Chief Kombes Jansen A Panjaitan, at the Denpasar Police Headquarters, Monday, July 26.

The persecution took place at the intersection of Subur Street, Kelimutu, Monang Maning, Denpasar, Bali, on the afternoon of Friday, July 23.

Initially, four debt collectors came to the boarding house of the victim, Ketut Widiada, in Kubu Anyar Gang Satria 1, Kuta District, Badung, Bali. They withdrew the victim's Yamaha Lexi DK 2733 ABO motorcycle unit because of problems with credit payments.

Furthermore, the victim Ketut Widiada along with four debt collectors headed to the PT Beta Mandiri Multi Solusien office. The victim at that time invited his younger brother Gede Budiarsana to solve the problem.

However, at the PT Beta Mandiri Multi Solusien office, the perpetrators and victims were involved in a commotion. Two victims were beaten.

"After arriving at the location there were talks and there was no agreement so there was a commotion and finally it continued to the beating of the victim", added Kombes Jansen.

The brothers fled until they were chased by the perpetrators. Victim Gede Budiarsana was slashed with sharp weapons until the victim died on the street.

Meanwhile, the victim's brother Ketut Widiada suffered a laceration to his head and managed to save himself.

"Then, it is suspected that the victim (Gede Budiarsana) was bleeding at that time, corroborated by witnesses who saw it", said Kombes Jansen.

The main perpetrator is called the police named I Wayan Sadia who slashed the victim to death. Meanwhile, other perpetrators hit the victim with their bare hands and threw stones and plastic chairs at the victim.

"The victim was chased to Simpang Subur and the perpetrator was slashed with a sword", continued Kombes Jansen.

The police also arrested the perpetrators. Confiscated 4 sharp weapons, three plastic chairs, and stones as evidence.

"The modus operandi of the perpetrators was to carry out the persecution together against the victim by using a machete which caused the victim to die", said Jansen.
