Ganjar Pranowo Initiates Central Java Discussing Villages Against New Variants Of COVID-19

SEMARANG - The Central Java Provincial Government made a breakthrough initiated by Governor Ganjar Pranowo in the form of "Village Meetings" to fight the spread of the new variant of COVID-19.

Governor Ganjar in Semarang, Monday, said that through the "Village Discussion" he wanted to filter factual information in the field, including hearing complaints or obstacles faced by villages in handling the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, Ganjar can provide direct directions and absorb the good examples that have been carried out by several villages so that other regions can imitate them.

According to Ganjar, "Village Meetings" are held online every day and take turns in each district/city.

The "Village Discussion" program started today and was attended by village heads/heads throughout Banjarnegara Regency regarding the handling of COVID-19 in their respective regions.

A total of 244 village heads in Banjarnegara Regency seemed enthusiastic about participating in the "Village Meeting" event.

In addition, Ganjar also ensured how the use of village funds for handling COVID-19, and from the "Village Meeting" it was proven that the village head had used 8 percent of village funds for the COVID-19 pandemic.

"So the village funds have been used from the beginning, it has been used smoothly. In addition, the Jogo Tonggo Program has also turned out to be running. However, Ganjar continued, there were also suggestions from several village heads related to assistance for the people who wanted vaccination.

In addition, there is also an input for assistance for traders affected by the pandemic and also oxygen for self-isolation at home.

"We heard a lot from them, apparently because I broadcast 'streaming' via Instagram and Youtube, the Klaten village head asked when we were sir, Brebes also asked us when sir. We need to talk to these village heads because they have experiences that maybe we don't know They are in the field, so they know exactly. So we will continue to roll it out, so we know what is happening in Central Java", he said.
