South Sulawesi Gowa Municipal Police Mock A Pregnant Cafe Owner During PPKM, Regent Adnan's Instagram Invaded

GOWA - While being widely spread on social media, the actions of the Municipal Police Gowa, South Sulawesi, rebuked the cafe owner. Pregnant women were also targeted.

CCTV footage of Gowa, South Sulawesi Municipal Police officers rebuking the cafe owner was widely shared on social media. There seemed to be a commotion.

Later the cafe owner reported to the Gowa Police. Meanwhile, Gowa Regent Adnan Purichta Ichsan has not commented when confirmed by VOI. Gowa Police contacted have not responded. 

In a viral video, members of the Gowa Municipal Police assert that they have the authority to inspect cafes.

"I am an officer, I have the authority, earlier you said I have no authority, I am a municipal police officer," said the Municipal Police member.

"I'm checking here, I'm closing it," added a member of the Municipal Police.

"Relax, sir, she is pregnant, don't hit... don't hit, brat, Astagfirullahaladzim. You are a member, you are a member. He hit my wife, wait for me to report," said the video recorder.

"How is it, sir, he beats a woman who is just pregnant, sir? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻," said a netizen commenting on the Gowa Regent's Instagram adnanpurichtaichsan.

"Assalamualaikum sir, please act decisively toward Municipal Police officers who beat pregnant women... paka siri' siri, I'm not a resident of Gowa, I'm a resident of Makassar but the video went viral, it's really embarrassing to hit a woman..." another netizen commented.
