Dayana Promotes Robusta Coffee From Bengkulu In Khazakhstan

BENGKULU - The Bengkulu Provincial Government will cooperate with the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) office in Nur Sultan, Khazakhstan to promote red-picked robusta coffee which is grown by local farmers in Bengkulu.

Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah said that one of the brands that will be introduced is Bencoolen Coffee, which is a coffee produced by a coffee development company in collaboration with a Bengkulu Province BUMD company.

"I have asked the local embassy to help us introduce this Bencoolen Coffee product in Khazakhstan," said Rohidin in Bengkulu, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, July 13.

According to Rohidin, Bengkulu Robusta coffee has a distinctive taste that is different from other coffees so that it will be easy to be accepted by foreign coffee lovers.

Moreover, this Bencoolen Coffee product has won three international coffee championship awards held by the Agency for the Valorization of the Agricultural Products (AVPA), an organization in France that focuses on helping agricultural product producers from around the world in 2019.

In addition to cooperating with the Indonesian Embassy in Nur Sultan, Khazakhstan, Bencoolen Coffe is currently also aggressively promoting Bengkulu Robusta coffee through social media, one of which is by collaborating with young people who are also celebrities in Khazakhstan, namely Dayana Asembayeva.

Not long ago the Governor of Bengkulu, Rohidin Mersyah, together with Bencoolen Coffe, held an event entitled "Coffee with Dayana" which was held virtually to introduce Bengkulu coffee products to Khazakhstan.

In the event, Dayana said that the unique taste of Bengkulu coffee and its unique aroma made her immediately like it even though it was the first time she tried it.

He and his community in Kazakhstan will help promote the coffee in his country.
