Mayor Arief Wismansyah's Order: Echelon 2 And 3 Tangerang Officials Still Must Work In The Office

JAKARTA - The Mayor of Tangerang, Banten, Arief R Wismansyah said echelon 2 and 3 officials are not applied to Work From Home (WFH) or work from home and are still required to work in the office during the implementation of emergency PPKM.

"Echelon two and three officials continue to work from the office, they must continue to carry out their duties in the office or in the field to facilitate coordination, except if they are sick," said Tangerang Mayor Arief R Wismansyah in a statement, quoted by Antara, Thursday, 8 July.

Tangerang Mayor Arief R Wismansyah accompanied by Tangerang City Secretary Herman Suwarman, Wednesday, July 7, conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) on offices within the Tangerang City Government.

"This morning I carried out monitoring related to employees who were WHF and WFO within the Tangerang City Government. It was observed that they had carried out WFH and WFO in accordance with the Emergency PPKM rules that were set," he said.

Furthermore, Arief said that not all employees carry out WFH at home, but they take turns doing Safe Operations together in crowded places and in the neighborhood.

"So there are WFH who bring their work home and there are also those who provide services to the community in carrying out safe operations together," he said.
