Gyms And Beauty Salons In Denpasar Closed For Violating The Emergency PPKM Prokes

DENPASAR - The joint task force (task) of Denpasar City, Bali closed four places of business because it created crowds during the implementation of Emergency PPKM.

"When the patrols were carried out, these four efforts created crowds and did not apply the health protocols, so we were forced to temporarily close," said Denpasar City Police Chief I Dewa Gede Anom Sayoga, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, July 7.

Dewa said this step was taken because in implementing the Emergency PPKM the community was asked not to create a crowd, if there was an attempt to cause a crowd it had to be closed.

There are also four types of businesses, namely two business gyms and two beauty salon businesses.

"If food stalls can be done by 'take away', while service businesses such as banks can still open as long as employees and customers are limited and strictly implement health protocols to suppress the transmission of COVID-19," continued Dewa.

In addition, the Denpasar judiciary team also carried out "stationary and mobile" control of the Emergency PPKM.

For "stationary" control, it was carried out at the Cokroaminoto Intersection at Jalan Gunung Galunggung, while "mobile" was carried out from the front of the Denpasar Police Headquarters along Jalan Gatot Subroto Barat-Jalan Gatot Subroto Timur and another team followed from the front of the police station to Jalan Gatsu Barat. Denpasar City Center.

From that activity, six violators of health protocols were found, one of whom was immediately fined on the spot, while the other five were given guidance for wearing a mask incorrectly.

"Just as before, violators are also given physical sanctions in the form of 'push ups' on the spot and must sign a statement not to violate again. If later found to have violated again, they must be ready to accept stricter action," said Dewa.
