JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya together with the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta held office inspections following information about the number of people employed by essential and non-essential companies during the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat, said that several companies would be investigated and investigated for the implementation of the Emergency PPKM rules.

"Later, there are some targets that I may not be able to convey here, but the Head of the Jakarta Manpower Office already has the data," said Kombes Tubagus to reporters, Tuesday, July 6.

In the future, companies that are found not to apply the Emergency PPKM rules will be immediately dealt with. However, the sanctions given will be considered based on the violation.

"We see what it looks like, that's important for us to involve all related parties, such as the Manpower Office, then Satpol PP," said Kombes Tubagus.

"And if, for example, it meets the criteria or meets the elements of Article 14 of the Disease Outbreak Act, the General Criminal Directorate will conduct an investigation," he continued.

On the other hand, Tubagus emphasized that the current inspection is one way for the community to comply with the Emergency PPKM rules. Because, this rule was made for the benefit of all citizens of Jakarta.

"Essentially this activity is so that all elements of society obey, not having to take legal action first, but this is a provision, this is a shared responsibility so that the prevention of the epidemic goes well, not cat and mouse but based on awareness," he said.

Previously, the police said that traffic jams at the barrier points in bordering areas had decreased. In fact, for the blocking point in the Kalimalang area, it fell by 85 percent when compared to the implementation of the third day of Emergency PPKM.

"Alhamdulillah, at the Lampiri border point (Kalimalang) it has decreased by about 85 percent, there are no traffic jams," said Irwasda Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Herukoco to reporters, Tuesday, July 6.

Referring to data as of July 5, the traffic jam in Kalimalang is estimated to reach 1.5 kilometers. But, for today, it's pretty quiet.

The absence of traffic jams, continued Herukoco, is an indicator that the community has understood the rules of the Emergency PPKM policy.

"It means that people from yesterday's lesson today are aware and companies have started to close," he said.
