Continuous Record Of COVID-19 Cases In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The case of COVID-19 is increasingly worrying. The number of new cases continues to record, including in the capital city of DKI Jakarta.

The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 110,115 specimens were examined with the result that there were 29,745 new positive cases of COVID-19.

Today's new cases are the highest number during the pandemic. Previously, the most daily COVID-19 cases occurred on July 4 with 27,233 cases.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 2,313,829 people and active cases are 309,999", according to data from the Ministry of Health, Monday, July 5.

Today's recovered cases increased by 14,416 cases, bringing the total to 1,942,690 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 558 people and a total of 61,140 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 10,903 cases and a total of 591,498 cases. Followed by West Java which has 6,971 new cases with a total of 409,376 cases. Central Java has 3,447 new cases and a total of 268,727 cases. Then, East Java has 1,543 new cases and a total of 180,268 cases.

- Sunday, July 4: 10,485 new cases

- Saturday, July 3: 9,702 new cases

- Friday, July 2: 9,399 new cases

- Thursday, July 1: 7,541 new cases
