Depok COVID-19 Task Force Checks A Village Head Who Is Suspected Of Violating Health Protocol During A Wedding Celebration

JAKARTA - The Depok City COVID-19 Handling Task Force (Satgas) examined the village head for allegedly violating health protocols when the state civil apparatus (ASN) held a wedding reception in Mampang Village, Pancoran Mas.

A spokesperson for the COVID-19 Handling Task Force of Depok City, Dadang Wihana, in his statement, Monday morning, July 5, said that the person concerned would undergo an examination, then his party would make an examination report (BAP) on the case.

He said that his party together with the Depok City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) had carried out an inspection of the location, then stopped the activity.

"If a violation is found, the person concerned will be subject to sanctions in accordance with the provisions," he said through a clarification video, reported by Antara, Monday, July 5.

Previously, the sub-district head and the COVID-19 task force had warned those concerned to follow the procedures and applicable rules. Based on applicable regulations, for weddings, the number is limited to only 30 people and circumcision of 20 people.

"In Depok City, the regulation has been in effect since 2 weeks ago when the restrictions on community activities (PPKM) were tightened, which is currently being reaffirmed with an emergency PPKM," he said.
