Volunteer Supporting 'Ganjarist' Ganjar Expands To 14 Regions

JAKARTA - A total of 14 regions simultaneously declared themselves as 'Ganjarist' volunteers, supporting the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in 2024.

"A total of 14 regions simultaneously made the 'Ganjarist' declaration on July 1, 2021," said Chairman of the National Ganjarist Mazdjo Pray, quoted by Antara, Thursday, July 1.

Madzo explained, these 14 regions add to the number of other regions that have established themselves to provide support to Ganjar Pranowo.

According to him, the simultaneous declaration of these 14 regions after going through thorough preparation beforehand. His party has compiled a kind of standard operating procedure (SOP) for areas that want to join Ganjarist.

"Our focus is now on tidying up the organizational system and expanding the support base in various regions," said Madzo.

According to him, public enthusiasm is very high, as evidenced by the demand for the formation of Ganjarists throughout Indonesia.

"Even from abroad," continued Madzo.

Until now, he said, there are 27 provincial-level Ganjarists who are still in the verification process to declare the Ganjarist movement in their area.

Meanwhile, at the district/city level, there are at least hundreds of regional volunteers who are being processed to declare themselves immediately.

"Well, the 14 regions whose declaration has passed the verification. They declared Ganjarist according to the SOP that we have made," he said.

Madzo said the cities and regencies that declared the support included North Jakarta, Depok, Pekanbaru, Klaten, Madiun, Magetan, Central Jakarta, Nganjuk, Kediri, Jombang, West Jakarta, East Jakarta, Lampung, South Jakarta, Bogor Raya, Kediri. , and Solo Raya.

"We do not want to arbitrarily accept requests for the formation of Ganjarists in various regions. We carry out strict verification. Equalizing perceptions and steps so that the organization's wheels run more effectively," he said

Currently Ganjarist has been established in 54 districts and cities throughout Indonesia. That number is outside the 14 regions that have just declared themselves.

Madzo said that one of the tasks of Ganjarist administrators in this district/city is to initiate the formation of Ganjarists at the sub-district and sub-district levels.

"Everything is to introduce the performance and figure of Ganjar Pranowo to the wider community," said Mazdjo Pray.

After Ganjarist's declaration in Jakarta a month ago, said Mazdjo, it has inspired the growth of various volunteer groups supporting Ganjar Pranowo, such as Teman Ganjar, Seduluran Ganjar Pranowo, GP-Mania, DAG, and many others.

"According to our records, 36 volunteers supporting Ganjar Pranowo have been formed," he said.

Deputy Chairperson of Ganjarist, Kris Chantra, said that his organization is trying to build communication with other Ganjar-supporting volunteer organs.

"Our goal is the same. Our hope is the same. That's why we cooperate with each other," he also said.

Ganjarist is currently starting to hold various activities. During this pandemic, the Ganjarist volunteer team translated the Ganjar style in Central Java to continuously provide awareness to the public about the dangers of COVID-19.

Ganjarist formed small teams walking from village to village, to the market, to public places to remind people to wear masks and follow health protocols.

"We see that Pak Ganjar never gets tired of doing this. We bring Pak Ganjar's spirit to work directly for the benefit of the community," he said.
