The Daily Head of the Magelang City COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Joko Budiyono, said that the emergency room capacity of the Tidar Hospital was no longer able to accommodate COVID-19 patients.

Joko said the closure of the ER was specifically for COVID-19 patients, while other patient services were still being served.

"This emergency hospital is planned to be located in GOR Samapta, Magelang City", he said.

Meanwhile, the Spokesperson for the Magelang City COVID-19 Task Force, Dr. Intan Suryahati, said the capacity of the isolation beds for COVID-19 patients at the Tidar Hospital previously amounted to 94 and has been added by utilizing the ICU room to become 107 beds.

"Even though it's been added since some time ago it's been 100 percent full", she said
