Wandering Around During Takbiran And Eid In Jakarta, Get Ready For Raid

JAKARTA - The Large-Scale Social Restriction Period (PSBB) in Jakarta is still ongoing at the night of the Takbiran and Eid Al-Fitr 1441 Hijriah. Therefore, DKI residents are prohibited from going outside to get around at night takbiran and stay in touch on Lebaran Day.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said there would be joint raids to take action against residents who were still roaming around during the night of Takbiran and Eid. This action was carried out by the ranks of Dishub, Satpol PP, TNI, and police.

The day before Lebaran, Syafrin said the joint team would be on guard at a number of points to carry out surveillance and prosecution. If there are waga who perform takbir around, they will be disbanded.

"We will work together with Polda and Kodam Jaya to supervise it, and if there is this potential we will divert it for them not to continue (traveling takbir)," said Syafrin when contacted, Wednesday, May 20.

Meanwhile, on the first and second Eid Al-Fitr, the joint team will identify residents who will visit relatives' homes to stay in touch, both inside the city and outside Jakarta.

"For example, the person concerned is still wearing a robe, meaning that he will not carry out activities to fulfill his daily needs. Or the person concerned is wearing a koko shirt, or is still wearing a sarong. Then, of course, we wear it in accordance with the PSBB violation sanction," explained Syafrin.

If they are proven to have done this, then their vehicles are asked to turn back to their respective homes. Meanwhile, if you do not comply with the PSBB regulations, such as not wearing a mask and limiting the number of passengers, you will be subject to sanctions in the form of social work or payment of fines.

"Regarding sanctions, for social sanctions the goal is that we want to provide understanding to all residents. If the person concerned violates, then he will be given an administrative sanction of Rp. 100,000 to Rp. 500,000, the others will not be affected," he said.

Furthermore, Syafrin asked the public to be cooperative and not carry out local homecoming and comply with health protocols to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.

"If the people are obedient, then we can suppress the spread of this virus, of course the results are positive, then the PSBB will no longer be continued to the fourth volume, the fifth volume, and so on," concluded Syafrin.
