Deputy Governor Riza Admits DKI Is Now A Red Zone Zona

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria admitted that the capital city has been in the red zone for the last few weeks or a zone with a high risk of COVID-19.

"Regarding COVID-19, for the past few weeks DKI has entered the red zone. In general, we have met the criteria, namely based on active cases and the positivity rate," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Wednesday, June 23.

There are also active cases of COVID-19 in DKI as of today as many as 35,705 cases and the case positivity rate for the past week was 27.7 percent. Meanwhile, the occupancy of the isolation beds reached 90 percent and the ICU reached 86 percent.

This serious condition, said Riza, has resulted in DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan tightening micro PPKM from June 22 to July 5, 2021.

"That is why we are tightening micro PPKM following the policy decision of the central COVID-19 Task Force. The governor's decision regarding micro PPKM in the next 2 weeks follows the policy of the central Task Force," said Riza.

However, Riza hopes that COVID-19 cases will return to a sloping level with the tightening of micro PPKM. Because, today's new cases of COVID-19 are lower, at 3,321 cases, from yesterday's daily cases, which were 5,014 new cases.

"So, there is a fairly good decline. Hopefully in the future it can be even better. We have a strict control area. So, that is what is being applied in DKI Jakarta," he said.

For information, Anies has tightened a number of rules in micro PPKM. This is stated in the Decree of the Governor of DKI Number 769 of 2021 concerning the Extension of the Application of Micro-Based Community Activities (PPKM).

The following are the new rules for DKI micro PPKM until July 5, 2021:

1. Workplace or office activities

Work from home (WFH) is mandatory at 75 percent and work from office at 25 percent in all COVID-19 risk zones. Applies to all offices or workplaces, both government offices, BUMN, BUMD, to private companies.

2. Essential sector activities operate at 100 percent

3. Construction activities operate 100 percent

4. Teaching and learning activities are carried out online

5. Restaurants, restaurants and cafes

- Maximum visitor capacity of 25 percent

- operates until 25 percent

- Take away or delivery service 24 hours

- Live music or live music is removed

- bars serving alcoholic beverages must be closed

- it is forbidden to sell shisha service

6. Marriage contract

- Maximum visitors 30 people

- Done at 06.00-20.00 WIB

7. Wedding reception

- Maximum visitors 25 percent

- It is forbidden to serve meals on the premises
