Chairman Of The DKI DPRD Asks Anies To Change The Name Of Kebon Sirih Street To H. Ali Sadikin Street

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Regional House of Representatives, Prasetio Edi Marsudi, asked DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to change the name of Kebon Sirih Street To H. Ali Sadikin Street.

He conveyed this in a plenary meeting to commemorate the 494th anniversary of the City of Jakarta at the DKI Regional House of Representatives building.

Prasetio asked Anies to issue a governor's regulation regarding changing the name of the street located in front of the DKI Regional House of Representatives Office to the name of the former governor of DKI.

"Hopefully the Governor is also pleased to issue a governor's regulation to determine the change in the name of Kebon Sirih Street, starting from the Abdul Muis Street intersection to Menteng Raya Street intersection opposite Tugu Statue Tani, to H. Ali Sadikin" Street, said Prasetio, Tuesday, June 22.

In addition, Prasetio asked Anies to change the name of the Block G building in the DKI City Hall environment with the name Ali Sadikin. Blok G building is the office of the DKI Provincial Government.

"We hope that the name H. Ali Sadikin can be enshrined in the Block G Building within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government under the name Graha Ali Sadikin, Ali Sadikin Hall, or Home Ali Sadikin", he said.

Prasetio considers that Ali Sadikin's work in leading the capital from 1977 to 1977 made Jakarta develop to this day. Therefore, the embedding of the name Ali Sadikin was carried out to commemorate his services.

"During his leadership, the people of Jakarta have experienced many successes", said Prasetio.
