Capacity Has Been Added, The Occupancy Of Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Hospital Kemayoran Today Reaches 77.5 Percent

JAKARTA - There was an increase in the occupancy rate of beds for COVID-19 patients at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Kemayoran today.

Currently, usability reaches 77.5 percent, so there is 22.5 percent of beds that are not occupied by patients.

The capacity of the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital has been added to 1.400 beds. Previously, the total number of isolation beds was 5.994, now it is 7.394 beds.

Head of Information for Defense Area Joint Command I (Kogabwilhan I), Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said, as of today there are 179 people who have just entered the Wisma Atlet as COVID-19 isolation patients.

"Inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Hospital are 5.730 people from 7.394 bed capacities. Initially, there were 5.551 people being treated and today there are 179 people", said Aris in his statement, Thursday, June 17.

The details, there are 2.869 women and 2.861 men. They are undergoing isolation in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Emergency Hospital.

So, since the beginning of being used as a place of isolation on March 23, 2020, until now, the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Hospital has treated 93,578 coronavirus patients.

"There were 87.848 patients discharged, with details of 86.835 patients recovered, 921 were referred to other hospitals, and 92 people died", he said.

Currently, all isolation patients being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Hospital are people who have symptoms of COVID-19, both mild and moderate.

Meanwhile, patients with asymptomatic categories undergo isolation at Wisma Atlet Quarantine Pademangan. This hospital is also used as a repatriation/ (Migrant Workers) PMI isolation place. Towers 8, 9, and 10 of Wisma Atlet Pademangan currently have 2.815 inpatients.

"Today there is a reduction in 115 patients undergoing isolation at Wisma Atlet Pademangan. Yesterday, 2.930 patients were hospitalized", he concluded.
