Police Arrested Sodomy Of Students Of Koran Students In Sidoarjo

SIDOARJO - The Sidoarjo Police have again arrested the perpetrators of sodomizing the Koran students in Sidoarjo. The new suspect is ER, none other than the brother of suspect AH, who was arrested first.

"From the results of the development and the confessions of other victims, it turns out that there are other perpetrators who did this disgraceful thing. One perpetrator is ER, none other than AH's brother", said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sidoarjo Police, Kompol Wahyudin Latif, in Sidoarjo, Wednesday, June 16.

The arrest of ER was carried out after the development of the results of the examination of several victims. ER was then arrested in his hometown in Karangsari Village, Kebumen District, Central Java.

The suspect, ER, is suspected of committing an obscene act against a number of his students in Sidoarjo. Three victims have reported to the police.

"There are three victims of ER immoral acts. All of them are minors", he said.

The Sidoarjo Police succeeded in uncovering the sodomy case of about 25 students who memorized the Koran in Sidoarjo. The depraved act was carried out by the Koran teacher with the initials AH, who has now been arrested by the police.

Suspect AH has been carrying out his actions for five years, from 2016 to 2021. Dozens of students are aged 6-15 years, coming from various regions in East Java, even outside East Java such as Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Bali.

Suspect AH is currently in the custody of the Sidoarjo Police Station to account for his actions, while the police are investigating the case. The perpetrators were charged with Article 82 of Law Number 35 of 2014 with a threat of 15 years in prison.
