Good News, 63 Students With Disabilities Pass The 2021 SBMPTN

63 students with disabilities were declared to have passed the Joint Selection to Enter State Universities (SBMPTN) 2021/ Antara

JAKARTA - A total of 63 students with disabilities were declared to have passed the 2021 State University Entrance Joint Selection (SBMPTN).

Of the total 265 students with disabilities who took the computer-based written exam (UTBK) in the 2021 SBMPTN, 19 people were accepted into the science and technology study program and 44 people were accepted into the social and humanities study program.

"We congratulate you on passing the 2021 SBMPTN. Don't be discouraged for those who do not pass, not because it is not good but because the capacity is limited", said Head of the Higher Education Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT), Mohammad Nasih, when delivering a media briefing online, reported Antara, Monday, June 14th.

UTBK SBMPTN 2021 participants are a total of 732,801 people and 184,942 of them have passed the selection.

Students who pass the 2021 SBMPTN include 85,149 selection participants from the science and technology study program group, 83,836 selection participants from the social and humanities study program group, and 15,957 selection participants in the science-technology and social-humanities mixed study program group.

According to LTMPT, 123,875 people passed the 2021 SBMPTN, and 61,067 people passed the selection for the KIP (Smart Indonesia Card) Lecture program.

The results of the 2021 SBMPTN will be announced starting Monday at 15.00 WIB on the official websites of LTMPT and state universities.

The number of students who pass the 2021 SBMPTN is less than the capacity of the state universities holding the selection.

“There is still an unfulfilled capacity of 12,715. Please don't mean there are still seats that can be filled by anyone. However, the participants did not meet the existing capacity, it could be because there were no interested applicants there", said Mohammad Nasih.
