KUDUS - The government of Kudus Regency, Central Java, has again issued a policy inviting its citizens to stay at home for five days. This policy is to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19.

"If previously it lasted for two days, namely Saturday and Sunday, then there was another extension, then for next week it will take place for five days starting June 14-20 2021," said the Head of the Kudus Regency COVID-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force who is also the Regent of Kudus, Hartopo in Kudus. reported by Antara, Sunday, June 13.

The invitation to stay at home for five days is stated in Circular number 360/1323/04.03/2021 regarding the Appeal to Stay Home Only on Monday to Sunday, June 14-20 2021 in order to control the spread of COVID-19 in Kudus.

Despite the circular, his party will not close the economic sectors in Kudus Regency, such as markets, factories, and supermarkets.

"Of course there are restrictions, both in terms of capacity and other technicalities. Markets, supermarkets, and factories must also have a task force," he said.

Meanwhile, the implementation of micro-scale Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) will also be tightened by collaborating with the jogo tonggo program.

The parties involved in monitoring the implementation of the five-day invitation to stay at home, starting from the TNI, Polri, Satpol PP, sub-district heads, villages/kelurahan, Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19, Task Force for Jogo Tonggo, to hamlet heads and RT/ RW.

The Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 in Kudus will coordinate with the TNI, Polri, sub-district heads, village heads, village heads and the Jogo Tonggo Task Force to conduct a random antigen rapid test to residents who do not comply with the advice to stay at home. If residents are found whose rapid test results are reactive or positive, they will be followed up with isolation at the designated COVID-19 isolation center.
