JAKARTA - A luxury house on Jalan Lembang, Menteng was sealed for violating the Building Permit (IMB). This sealing was carried out by the ranks of the Central Jakarta City Government which was monitored directly by the Mayor of Central Jakarta, Dhany Sukma.

According to Dhany, the residential building had been sealed in 2020 for committing a violation. Furthermore, the building owner agreed to demolish himself, adjust the building permit, and request the opening of the sealing in February 2021.

At that time, construction activities that were not in accordance with the permit were found in the form of left, right, and rear clearances, the addition of a third floor at the rear, and the addition of a 328 square meter house where according to the permit the area was only 198 square meters.

"After the sealing was opened, monitoring and monitoring of the construction was still carried out, and violations of applicable regulations were found again. To be precise, in the basement area. So, we decided to re-seal it," said Dhany in an official release from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Saturday, June 12.

The violation committed by the owner of the building is to make a basement or basement area of 324.75 square meters.

"The basement area that violates these rules must be remedied and adjusted to the existing permits," he said.

Furthermore, Dhany said that he had assigned the Head of the Central Jakarta CKTRP Sub-dept. to order building owners to immediately carry out permanent backfill of the breached underground area.

"I have assigned the Central Jakarta City Administration CKTRP Sub-dept. to seal the building. Furthermore, it will be processed in accordance with applicable regulations," he concluded.
