Sad News From Kudus, One COVID-19 Patient Dies

JAKARTA - An asymptomatic COVID-19 patient (OTG), a resident of Kudus Regency, Central Java, died while undergoing treatment at the Surakarta City Mental Hospital (RSJD), Thursday, June 10.

The Head of the Boyolali Police, AKBP Morry Ermond, as the person in charge of the centralized isolation area at the Haji Donohudan Dormitory, when confirmed in Boyolali, confirmed the death of one COVID-19 patient from Kudus.

The patient who died had the initials S (63). When he arrived at the Haji Donohudan Boyolali Dormitory on Tuesday, June 8 to undergo centralized isolation, a screening process was carried out on S. He is isolated with his wife, SW.

The husband and wife were known to have a congenital disease, so the medical team at Haji Donohudan Dormitory referred them both to the Surakarta Hospital for Intensive Care.

While being treated at RSJD Surakarta, S's condition worsened, and finally died on Thursday, at around 00:01 WIB.

His party has coordinated with the Kudus Police Chief regarding the repatriation of the bodies.

S's body will be picked up by the Kudus Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBP) to be buried in the area with the COVID-19 health protocol.

The person in charge of the Central Isolation of the Haji Donohudan Boyolali Dormitory, doctor Sigit Armunanto also confirmed that one COVID-19 patient from Kudus died while being treated at the Surakarta Hospital.

The number of COVID-19 patients from Kudus who arrived at the Haji Donohudan Dormitory and were then taken to the local referral hospital due to illness has so far been a total of 16 people, while seven of them are in RSJD Surakarta. However, one person died.
