Kaops: Evidence Found at Kingmi Sugapa Church Not Bombs

JAKARTA - Kaops Damai Cartenz Irjen Faizal Ramadhani said that the evidence (BB) found at the Kingmi Church of the Sion Jaindapa Klasis Nabia Congregation, Sugapa Lama Village, Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, was confirmed not to be a bomb or mine.

"After checking, it was confirmed that the BB found in the yard of the Kingmi Church of the Sion Jaindapa Klasis Nabia Congregation, Sugapa District, was part of the contents of the church bell that fell off and fell," said Kaops Damai Cartenz Irjen Pol Faizal Ramadhani in Jayapura, Friday, June 5, reported by ANTARA.

To ensure that the objects that were previously dug up or mines, he said, had been verified in the field, as well as checked by the Intan Jaya Regency element together with security officers considering it was viral.

The Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force coordinated with the Intan Jaya Regional Government to ensure information and prevent public unrest.

In the meeting attended by Deputy Regent of Intan Jaya Elias Igapa, said Faizal, it was revealed that the object that was suspected of being a bomb or mine was confirmed to be part of the contents of the church bell that fell off and fell.

One of the representatives of the Intan Jaya Regional Government, Yohakim Mujiaju, stated that information about the alleged bomb or mine at the church was not true, after being checked.

"The results of checking at the igu location show that the object that went viral and was suspected of being a bomb was part of the contents of the church bell.

"The public is expected not to be easily influenced by unverified information because that is why the spread of unverified information can trigger public unrest and potentially be used by certain parties to create a situation that is not conducive," said Kaops Damai Cartenz Irjen Pol Faizal Ramadhani.
