Jabodetabek Weather 2 June Dominated by Cloudy, Light Rain in the Afternoon

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) regions on Tuesday, June 2 will be dominated by cloudy conditions to light rain in the afternoon and evening.

Although there is no active early warning for extreme weather for Jabodetabek, the public is still asked to be aware of the potential for local rain that can occur suddenly.

The DKI Jakarta region is predicted to experience cloudy weather from morning to noon. Light rain is potentially occurring in some areas of South Jakarta, West Jakarta, and East Jakarta in the afternoon and evening. The air temperature in Jakarta ranges from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius with a relatively high relative humidity.

Meanwhile, the Bogor area is predicted to still have the potential to experience light to moderate rain in the afternoon and evening. Puncak area and Bogor Regency are areas that need to be aware of increased rainfall due to atmospheric conditions that still support the growth of rain clouds in the western part of West Java.

In the Bekasi area, the weather is predicted to be cloudy in the morning before light rain potentially falling in the afternoon to evening. The air temperature ranges from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius with air humidity reaching more than 80 percent at night.

The Depok and Tangerang areas are predicted to experience similar weather patterns, namely cloudy in the morning to afternoon and potentially light rain in the afternoon. BMKG noted that the still humid atmospheric conditions could trigger the formation of local rain clouds in a number of Jakarta buffer areas.

BMKG appeals to the public who are active outdoors to continue to prepare umbrellas or raincoats and monitor the latest weather information to anticipate weather changes that may occur at any time.
