Green-Toned Clothes, Vice President Gibran Performs Eid al-Adha Prayer at Istiqlal Mosque

JAKARTA - Vice President (Wapres) of the Republic of Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming carried out the Eid al-Adha prayer 1447 H with his son Jan Ethes Srinarendra at the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta, Wednesday, May 27.

Quoting Antara, Gibran arrived at around 06.51 WIB wearing green-colored clothes, in line with what Jan Ethes wore.

The Eid al-Adha prayer at the Istiqlal Mosque began at around 07.00 WIB, shortly after the arrival of Gibran and his family entourage.

A number of ministers of the Red and White Cabinet also performed Eid al-Adha prayers at the Istiqlal Mosque, including Coordinating Minister for Food and Agriculture Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni, Minister of Culture Fadli Zon, and Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf.

Meanwhile, President Prabowo Subianto himself is scheduled to perform the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Paris, France.

"President Prabowo is scheduled to perform the Eid al-Adha and silahturahim prayers with Indonesian citizens at the Indonesian Embassy in Paris," said Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday (26/5).

President Prabowo Subianto has arrived at Orly Airport, Paris, Tuesday at 10.00 local time, after a 16-hour flight from Jakarta.

Teddy said Prabowo's arrival in Paris marked the start of a series of official state visits that had been scheduled since 2025 and had been rescheduled several times.
