JAKARTA - The police are asked to thoroughly investigate the alleged intimidation and gangsterism that dragged the name of Alpriado Osmond, an auditor who was allegedly fired from the RSM Indonesia office along with a number of other people in the Tanjung Priok area, North Jakarta.
The case has now been reported to the North Jakarta Metro Police through a police report number LP/B/2395/XII/2025/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKUT/POLDA METRO JAYA dated December 13, 2025.
The lawyer for the reporter, Friska Gultom, revealed that Alpriado Osmond appeared to meet the call for an examination at the Tanjung Priok Police on Wednesday (13/5/2026) at around 16.30 WIB accompanied by his lawyer, Ojahan Pakpahan, SH.
According to Friska, Alpriado only left the police station around 20.45 WIB after undergoing an examination.
He also said that Alpriado had previously failed to meet the first examination call scheduled for May 8, 2026.
Meanwhile, Friska told the story of the incident that befell the client and his family. At that time, the client and his family were preparing to serve the Christmas service.
Friska said her client admitted to being under pressure and intimidation from a number of people who came with Alpriado Osmond.
"What we hope is that the legal process will be professional and transparent. We want there to be a sense of security for our client's families and the community," said Johannes, Thursday (14/5/2026).
He said the alleged intimidation lasted for quite some time from morning to afternoon.
He said Alpriado came to his client's family's house with a number of unidentified people who were suspected of being thugs from 06.23 WIB to around 16.50 WIB.
"The peak was around two o'clock in the afternoon when our client, along with his son and his wife, was about to leave for church to serve the Christmas service. At that time, the accused and his group committed an unpleasant act," he said.
He also questioned the presence of a number of people who claimed to be journalists in the incident. According to him, the actions taken did not reflect journalistic ethics.
"If someone claims to be a journalist, are the real journalists working in this way? Please check with the Press Council and PWI whether they are really recorded," he said.
He explained that the situation at the new location had calmed down after officers from the Tanjung Priok Police and the North Jakarta Metro Police came to carry out security.
"Their actions can only be dispersed after the police went directly to the location," he said.
Therefore, he hopes that the police will not only investigate the parties directly involved, but also investigate the parties suspected of being the actors behind the action.
"We hope that all parties involved will be processed according to applicable laws so that this kind of incident does not happen again," he said.
Meanwhile, Alpriado Osmond is known to have undergone a legal process related to domestic violence (KDRT).
Based on the Tangerang District Court's decision No. 243/Pid.Sus/2024/PN Tng on July 25, 2024, he was found guilty in the KDRT case against his wife and sentenced to probation for three months with a probationary period of six months.
In addition, Alpriado is also known to be facing a divorce lawsuit which was filed again by his wife at the Tangerang District Court with case number 26/Pdt.G/2026/PN Tng and is also suspected of having been fired from the RSM Indonesia office because of his track record.
Friska emphasized that he had completely handed over the process of handling the case to law enforcement officials and hoped that justice could be upheld objectively.
"What we are fighting for is not only for the families of our clients, but also so that the public feels protected from acts of intimidation and violence," he concluded.
