JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya continues to investigate the train accident at Bekasi Timur Station, West Java, by examining a number of additional witnesses, including from related government agencies and operators.
Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, said that the next examination was scheduled to take place on Monday, April 27 at 10.00 WIB at the Metro Jaya Police, involving the Green Taxi, Public Works Service, Spatial Planning Service, and Directorate General of Railways.
"In addition, additional witnesses from Daop 1 Jakarta will also be examined at the Manggarai Daop 1 Office at the same time," said Budi in his statement quoted by Antara, Monday, May 4.
He said that so far investigators have examined 31 witnesses consisting of the reporter, taxi drivers, gatekeepers, witnesses at the location, victims, PT KAI operational officers, to other parties who know the incident.
According to Budi, the handling of the case is currently in the investigation stage by the State Security Subdirectorate (Subdit Kamneg) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Polda Metro Jaya.
