JAKARTA - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) summoned the Chairman of the KPK, Firli Bahuri et al. This summons is to follow up on the complaints of 75 anti-corruption commission employees who did not pass the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK).
This was conveyed by the Commissioner for Monitoring and Investigation of Komnas HAM, Choirul Anam. However, unfortunately he did not specify when the summons was.
In addition to the leadership of the KPK, Komnas HAM also sent summons to the leaders of a number of institutions. They will also be asked for information about TWK.
"We'll just have to wait, but we'll call at the right time. I have signed the letter, we have checked it, and it has been sent directly to various institutions," Anam said at a press conference held on Sunday, June 6.
He hoped that the leaders of the KPK and other institutions could be present cooperatively to provide clear information regarding the test which is a condition for the transfer of employment status.
"We hope that all parties we have called are willing to come and work well together," he said.
Anam said that the cooperation of all the parties summoned was deemed necessary so that the TWK polemic would end soon. "The purpose of Komnas HAM is to make light of the incident so that we don't get the wrong idea. Second, to clarify whether (TWK, ed) is part of an incident of human rights violations or not," he said.
"So, when asked whether we will be summoned next week, we have sent a summons," said Anam.
As previously reported, the TWK was attended by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 people were declared eligible.
Meanwhile, 75 employees, including Novel Baswedan, Chairman of the KPK Employee Forum who is also investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign Giri Suprapdiono, Head of the KPK Task Force Harun Al-Rasyid, and Director of PJKAKI Sujarnarko were declared ineligible (TMS). While the other two employees did not attend the interview test.
According to the employees who were declared unsuccessful, there were a number of anomalies in the implementation of this assessment. Including, there are a number of questions that are considered to violate the private sphere.
These employees who did not pass, then reported the implementation of the TWK to Komnas HAM. Subsequently, a special team was formed, led by two commissioners, namely Choirul Anam and Sandrayati Moniaga to investigate the alleged human rights violations in this test.
In addition to submitting reports to Komnas HAM, these employees also report their leadership to a number of parties, from the KPK Supervisory Board to the Indonesian Ombudsman.
